Tap to Pay signage can be located on each each level of the College Street Car Park. Locate the black signage on your selected level.

2.

Hold your phone near the ‘Tap to Pay’ target and wait for a link to appear on your phone, this may take a few seconds.

3.

Click the link and enter your registration details in the white box.

4.

Pay with Apple / Google Pay or enter your debit / credit card details to provide payment.

5.

If you are not comfortable providing payment via your mobile phone, there is a cashless pay machine available on level 5 of the car park. Please note, this is the machine located on the left.

6.

That’s it! Drive to the exit and enjoy the rest of your day.

Useful information 

Vehicle entrances are on Market Street and Palmerston Road. Please note we have a height restriction of 2.3m. 

Pedestrian access for the multi-story car park is via a lift next to Marks and Spencer when the centre is closed.  

We have 39 designated disabled parking bays located on the surface level car park and 15 on level one of the multi-storey.  

We have 13 dedicated family spaces available on outside Marks and Spencer in our surface car park.  In the multi-storey car park, we have 10 spaces on level 1 and nine on level 2. 

We have free motorcycle parking in designated bays directly opposite JD Sports. Motorcycles should enter via the dropped kerb at the Market Street entrance and exit via the dropped curb at the Palmerston Road exit. No ticket is required.  

Shopmobility service operates in the entrance of P1 car park into Union Square shopping centre.  The team can be contacted in advance on 01224 254 338 and provide many services, for free, including motorized and manual wheelchairs, scooters and powerchairs.

College Street Car Park operates on an ANPR System.

Customers are required to pay on exit.

Customers have the option to pay for their car parking at the pay machine on level 5 as well as through Tap to Pay signage, available on each level.

Only card and contactless payment methods accepted. No cash is accepted.
