Festive Favours – Charity Giving Trees

This festive season, we are supporting Instant Neighbour, Befriend a Child and AberNecessities, hosting giving trees to support their amazing causes at Union Square. Simply find the tree, take a tag and follow the instructions on the tag for returning your gift. 

• Instant Neighbour supports people on low incomes to set up home, by providing access to low-cost reuse furniture, white goods, clothing and bric a brac. Their tree will be live until 28th November. Registered charity number SC002223.
• Befriend a Child’s mission is to support children and young people growing up in difficult life circumstances across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire to develop into confident young adults and help them reach their full potential. Their tree will be live until all of the tags go. Registered charity number SC005467.
• AberNecessities provides disadvantaged families with the essential and basic necessities that no child should go without. From maternity bundles for mother and baby to nappies, formula milk, clothing, toys and equipment for children aged 0-18 years, AberNecessities recognises the importance of meeting the basic needs of a child in order to give them the best start possible. Their tree will be live from 28^th November until all of the tags go. Registered charity number SC048788.
